ABS solar kit changes AS5033

Recently there have been significant changes to AS5033 and the grace period ends 16th October 2012. ABS have changed kits accordingly.

Major component changes:

• Suntech panels reduced
• CSUN panels reduced
• Many SMA inverters reduced between 5 – 15%
• Samil Inverter prices reduced
• Clenergy mounting integrated earthing solution added
• SMA Inverter accessories increased, and bluetooth compatible items added

Kit changes

• All kits now include earthing (Clenergy lugs and washers) as per new AS5033 standard
• All kits now include increased number of stainless steel cable clips for on-roof cable management

Kit changes to be introduced in the following weeks as stock becomes available (with no further price changes)

• Updated labelling kits as per new AS5033 standard
• Non-polarised DC isolators used across the range
• Aluminium rooftop isolator mounting bracket and fixings provided

• Kits exceeding 600Vdc limit will be identified on price list (only for installation in “restricted-access” areas i.e. most non-residential)
• Rooftop isolator will become a default inclusion on all kits
